Did you know that kitties are considered seniors as young as age 8? Our feline buddies usually age gracefully, so you won’t notice drastic changes happening overnight. Food
Obesity is a big concern with older kitties. Pay close attention to your pet’s waistline! If you know or suspect that Fluffy is, well, not just fluffy, ask your vet for specific advice. (Note: sometimes cats gain weight due to health issues. If your pet is getting pudgy, contact your vet.)
Napping Spots
Comfy beds are a must for cats of all ages! Put beds for Fluffy in various rooms, so she has options.
Grooming

Playtime

Senior cats sometimes have trouble jumping up to their favorite napping spots. Arrange footstools or ottomans so Fluffy can use them as stairs. Or, give your furry friend a lift. Just be very gentle whenever you pick her up or put her down.
Love
Cats are always happiest when they feel loved and cared for. You may also find that Fluffy gets extra affectionate as she grows older. Pay lots of attention to your kitty, and keep that motor going!
